Morse Code Study Group

The Aeronautical Center Amateur Radio Club is sponsoring a Morse Code study group on Monday nights 7p – 8p starting October 26th.

The group will meet online using Microsoft Teams for ten weeks followed by an on-air practice net beginning in 2021.

MORI Tech Net

The MORI Tech Net meets every Thursday evening at 8:30 PM on the 146.985- PL 141.3 repeater. The 146.850- PL 141.3 is the backup repeater, if needed.

Dates are:
June 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.

August 5, 12, 19 and 26

ACARC Club Meeting – July 1

ACARC has been ok’d to meet in person again  in the Integris Southwest Medical Center conference room on  July 1 at 6:30 PM.  Integris SW Med is at SW 44 and Western

Masks are still required except if drinking a beverage you brought.  Put it back on between drinks. If you need hydration, bring your own.

ARRL Field Day – June 26-27

Field Day is always the fourth full weekend of June, beginning at noon local time Saturday and running through noon local time on Sunday. We are only permitted to operate 24 hours if we setup before noon. Field Day will be held June 26-27, 2021.

We will operate at home again this year, due to in-availability of our Mustang location. Please use your own callsign when operating this year. If you would like to use N3FJP Field Day logging software and the Club Score Processor (which aggregates our scores), please email Bobby KF5GTX on QRZ.

Tables will be $5 each, and will include one (1) entry ticket. Entry tickets will be $5 each. Set up will start at 7 a.m. This time we have approximately 50 tables available. Half of the tables are usually sold within 3 months. Be sure to reserve yours early!

  • Upgrade your skills.  VE testing will start at 9 a.m. sharp.

  • Les Sullens with D & L Antenna will be on site.

  • KD0IWW Mike the Hat Man will be here!

  • Mark the DMR guy

  • Equipment testing table on site!

  • 50 / 50 Drawing at 12:30. Must be present to win!

Little Rock Free Will Baptist Church will be on site to provide food with donations going toward a fundraiser for Kevin Price W5KLP for his battle with COVID and other health problems.

We will be monitoring 147.060 repeater and 146.520 simplex for talk in.
